TECHNICAL AND CREATIVE ARTS DEPARTMENT
Creative Arts department is composed of six members, namely:
- Mrs. Ngigi – Head of Department
- Mr. Kariuki
- Mrs. Muriu
- Mr. Ndung’u
- Miss Eunice
- Mrs Njoroge
The above teachers teach as follows;
Mr. Kariuki – Computer Studies
Mrs. Muriu – Home Science
Mrs. Mucheru – Maths and Business Studies
Mr. Ndungu – Biology and Agriculture
Miss Eunice – Business Studies and Maths
Mrs Njoroge – Business Studies
All subjects are offered to all students at Form 1 and 2. At Form 3 level learners choose one subject among the four subjects. This is done according to learner’s interest and capability.
Departmental Resolutions
- Learners would be given more contact hours especially in the morning when teachers would teach at 6.00am -7.00 am and from 3.20 -4.00 pm.
- Learners would be given more assignments to do even when they are at home.
- Computer studies students are being prepared to do their KCSE for the first time this year 2020.
- Members of the department have been exposing learners to a lot of practicals. The teachers involved have been giving practicals to be done even during holidays by the learners especially for Agriculture, Home-Science and Computer.
The above department has always aimed at providing learners with good background for further studies. The department also aims at promoting dignified and profitable occupations by the learners in future. Members of the department set the following targets for KCSE 2020.
